You wonder how close you can get and still be Christian or how far away from God can I get and still be his

The Line is dangerous! The problem is pleasure. You want to be a Christian while getting pleasure/joy/satisfaction from sin, but that pleasure you feel from sin just leads to more sin, because the pleasure get from sin doesn't last long. If you get joy from God then will need more, but you will but keep going to God instead of going to sin. (Genesis 4:6-7)

Logical ArgumentsOkay, because I believe this is very important, I'm going to be writing about logic.
More specifically, Logic and Christianity.
No, they are not incompatible.

I just finished (or at least I believe I finished) talking arguing with someone on the topic. In the middle of the topic, I learned some tactics of Apologists, people who argue on the behalf of Christianity. I'll be sharing some of that too.

I think the best way to describe the proper place of logic is to define it.
Logic is a process of thought. It is using reason to come to a conclusion in a non-random fashion. Logic is reasonable (able to reason).

Sometimes I have this strange feeling,
Some may call it emptiness, or loneliness, or my heart isn't just healing,
I feel as if I'm a plastic Easter egg,
An egg that looks so good on the outside, that would make any child beg,
My exterior is just so eye-appealing to anyone,
But once they look in the inside, they know I am no prize to be won,
I have nothing… no candy, chocolate, trinkets, or toys,
Just another empty shell that won't give them any joy,

As you walk, all you see is extremely tall buildings at each of your sides, no
way out.

Only way is to go forward, 'cause there's nothing but darkness behind

You start seeing Demons in every window, taunting you, calling you names.
You begin to run to Jesus, but as you run, the Demons start throwing things at you, yelling at you.

As you get closer to Jesus, they start bringing up personal things from the past.

The LightBlinding light caress my eyes whenever I see Your greatness. I need not even to cover my fragile eyes with my hands from such great light. Yes. There is no other term. Great. This light is not just like any ordinary light because it is something that surpasses and go beyond the normal. It is blazes with endless radiance that makes my eyes want to follow them until they absorb all of its energy straight to my thirsty soul. What Would Jesus Do...For Fun?

Have you ever heard a party where everyone was there? The best music was playing, and it was blaring. Lots of hot guys and girls who are..."more then friendly", and alcohol lots of alcohol. Would you go to this party? Have you ever gone to a party like this? Did you enjoy yourself?

How do you feel when you're with a group of people who suddenly have "fun" doing things you arent comfortable doing?

Would Jesus attend this party? Actually...the answer to this last question is...he did. Jesus attended parties where alcohol and prostitutes were present. In fact the first recorded miricle of jesus was providing wine for a wedding that had run out. It may be hard for you to imagine jesus in this setting.

Well meaning christians may have painted an incomplete picture of Jesus. In emphasising how jesus never sinned and how he frowns apon sin, they might have given you the impression that he didn't hang around sinners either. But he did. Crowds constantly flocked around Jesus wherever he went. He hugged small children even when the disciples tried to shoo them away. He touched lepers. He tried to open peoples minds and free them from the restricted thinking of thier teachers. All in all, Jesus seemed like a pretty cool person to hang around.

Sure he came here on a serious mission, but that doesnt mean Jesus never had any fun or wasnt fun to be around. He made jokes, and probably laughed quite a bit. Most of the humor in the bible probably doesn't make much sence to us now because it was a different culture and a different time.

Jesus wants us to have fun. He never said you had to quit work and become a monk. He never said, "to follow me you must sit in your room and pray 24/7 and never even touch those who sin!"
The thing is, Jesus wants us to get out of our little holes and have fun, make a difference, and do the best we can to show who Jesus is thorough the way we live. Everything you do can be for God. And guess what, thats the secret. Thats the way you can keep from sinning.

If your first love is God you wont be doing the things he says arent a good idea. Thats why we go out to help people (on top of loving them). Thats supposed to be the reason a christian does anything. Because we love God and want to please him.

Yes this is so true. People seem to think that all Christians do is sit in a room and pray. When actually in reality we are out having fun and still preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. Yes Christians can have fun too but we have fun in a good and clean way.
